Susquehanna University students see the world and make a difference. Scores of study-away programs and a number of service-learning opportunities take students to sites both home and abroad, for short-term trips as well as semester-length studies.
All students at Susquehanna are required to participate in a unique cross-cultural program that will expose them to different cultures. The program, called GO (Global Opportunities), allows students to fulfill the requirement by participating in a traditional semester-away program, or by experiencing a shorter learning situation that puts them in an unfamiliar cultural context.
Susquehanna student-athletes are embracing their cross-cultural experiences; some opt for a semester-long experience, others several weeks, some incorporate athletics into their experience, some go abroad while others stay domestic. Below are stories about just some of the cross-cultural experiences in which Susquehanna student-athletes have taken part.
