SAAC Mission and Goals

Our role as members of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to provide student-athlete leadership on campus and act as liaisons for our team with the athletic administration, coaches, and faculty on the Susquehanna campus. SAAC intends to serve our community, to support all varsity teams, to enhance the student-athlete experience, to promote effective communication, and to foster a positive student-athletic experience.

SU SAAC is a group of representatives (generally two from each of SU’s varsity athletic teams) focused on furthering student-athletes’ academic and athletic achievement through active participation in one of three committees. The three operating committees- personal development (PD), community service (CS), and academic excellence (AE) focus on facilitating activities and programs within our campus and community in order to provide tools for success and leadership in these domains.
