The Week Ahead in SU Sports

Week of: April 16-22

Softball: The Crusaders (18-8, 6-1) host non-conference Elizabethtown on Wednesday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. Live stats can be found here.

SU hosts Landmark rival Drew on Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. and travels to Williamsport to play Lycoming on Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m. Live stats can be found here.

The Crusaders are in sole possession of first place in the conference after sweeping Juniata over the weekend. Alison Cullen (Branchburg, N.J. / Immaculata) was named the Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Week following her four hit shutout for her sixth win of the year, beating the Eagles 3-0 in game two.

Baseball: The Crusaders (13-18, 2-10) play at non-conference opponent Messiah on Wednesday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m. Live stats can be found here.

SU hosts Landmark Conference rival Catholic on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22. On Saturday, three members of the team will be honored for Senior Day. Live stats for all games can be found here.

Men's Lacrosse: SU (8-6, 3-2) travels to Washington, D.C. to take on Landmark foe Catholic on Saturday, April 21 at 12:00 p.m. Live stats can be accessed here. Video can be seen here.

The men went 2-0 last week with victories over Marywood (10-8) and Scranton (12-9). Luke Delavan (Madison, N.J. / Madison) posted six total goals in those wins.

Women's Lacrosse: SU hosts Landmark rival Goucher on Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. Three members of the squad will be honored in a pre-game ceremony for Senior Day. Live stats can be accessed here.

The Crusaders were handed their first defeat of the season, losing to #16 Catholic on Saturday. Erin Dyer (West Caldwell, N.J. / James Caldwell) recorded a hat trick in the loss.

Track & Field: Both men's and women's squads head to Moravian on Saturday, April 21 for the Greyhound Invitational starting at 10:00 a.m.

Over the weekend, both teams competed at Bloomsburg and at Bucknell. Jared Minori (Tyrone, Pa. / Bellwood-Antis) took third at the Bison Classic in the javelin with a toss of 60.36m. The distance is a personal best mark, fourth best in SU history and 17th best to date in Division III.

Tennis:  Both men's and women's squads head to Drew on Saturday, April 21 for the final Landmark Conference match of the season before playoffs. The match starts at 1:00 p.m.


Golf:
The women's team will be participating in the Ursinus Invitational on Tuesday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m.

The men's team hosts the SU Invitational at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club on Thursday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m.

The men compete in the Empire 8 Championships which runs from Saturday, April 21 to Sunday, April 22.
