Pair of Baseball Players Named to All-League Teams

MADISON, N.J. – Two Susquehanna baseball players have been named to All-Landmark Conference Teams as senior outfielder/third baseman Ethan Rieker (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Twp.) was a First-Team honoree and sophomore outfielder Ty Raubenstine (Elizabethville, Pa./Upper Dauphin Area) was a Second-Team recipient.

Rieker led the team in nearly every offensive category this spring, including average (.427), hits (61), doubles (17 – league-leading), home runs (5), RBI (43) and slugging percentage (.664). His 43 RBI led the league and he struck out just eight times in 143 at-bats while also scoring 21 runs, the second-highest total on the squad. Rieker was also a perfect 7-for-7 on the base paths.

Over his four years as a Crusader, he racked up 139 hits, 35 doubles, 14 home runs and 83 RBI and finished as a career .321 hitter. His 14 home runs are tied for fourth all-time, his 35 doubles are second-time and his hits are eighth all-time.

Raubenstine, meanwhile, earned his first career All-League accolade following a year in which he hit for a .387 average with 58 hits, a team-high 30 runs scored, eight doubles, four triples and two home runs, with his four triples leading all conference players. He boosted a team-best .436 on-base percentage and also drove in 23 runs.

Over two years, he has accumulated 54 hits, scored 77 runs and has 10 doubles and 31 RBI.
