Susquehanna Remains Fourth in President Cup Standings

TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna University remains in fourth place in the most updated Landmark Conference President's Cup standings, released Tuesday morning.

SU has an average of 6.15 points to stand fourth. Catholic is first with an average of 7.23 points, followed by Moravian with a 6.53 average and Scranton with an average of 6.50 points.

The Cup is awarded based on a formula that rewards institutions for regular season conference standings as well as results in Landmark postseason competition. Each team receives points based upon their finishes with top-seeded teams receiving eight points, second-place teams receiving seven points, etc. Additional points are awarded for conference postseason victories.

Individual sports use the championship team standings to award points and then add points for individual finishes.

This past winter, the Crusaders won the women's swimming & diving championship and finished second in men's swimming, men's indoor track and women's indoor track.
