Susquehanna Finishes High Atop Sports Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Susquehanna University led all Landmark Conference schools in the standings of the 2012-13 Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup Division III standings. The Crusaders ended the current athletic year ranked 85th in the nation.

The Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of College Directors of Athletics (NADCA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in up to 18 sports (nine men’s, nine women’s). Complete standings and the scoring structure can be found here.

SU finished with 210.50 points in the standings. Susquehanna earned 64 points in the fall, 39.50 in the winter and 107 in the spring. Scranton was second in the standings among all Landmark schools with 173 points.
