Baseball to Again Host College Coaches Skills Camp

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University will again serve as the host of the College Coaches Baseball Skills Camp on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at the James W. Garrett Sports Complex.

The camp consists of three sessions for players ages 14-19: a pitching/catching session, a hitting session and an infield/outfield session. Each session will consist of instruction in each of the following areas: skill work, strength work, mental training and education about the recruitment process. All skill work is one-on-one and age specific.

The cost of the camp is $150 for one session, $250 for two sessions and $325 for all three sessions. The pitching/catching session runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., the infield/outfield session will be held from 12-4p.m. and the hitting sessions will be held from 12-1 p.m. and from 1-3 p.m. Space is limited and sessions are expected to fill quickly.

The sessions feature staff members from Susquehanna University, Fordham University, St. John’s University, University of Albany, Southern New Hampshire University, Shepherd University, Millersville University and Shenandoah University.
