TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna sophomore third baseman Bryan Palsi (Brielle, N.J. / Manasquan) has been named the Landmark Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the period ending April 13.
Palsi helped lead the Crusaders (19-8, 9-3 Landmark) to a 3-2 record including a weekend series win over league opponent Scranton.
During the week, Palsi hit .563 (9-for-16) with one home run, one triple, three doubles, four walks, six runs and six RBI.
This season, Palsi has started all 27 contests and is second on the team with 34 hits. The sophomore is hitting .343 (34-for-99) with 16 runs, six doubles, three triples, two homers and a team-high 25 RBI.
In the Landmark, Palsi ranks in the top-ten in hits, triples, home runs, RBI, walks, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.
Palsi and SU host Elizabethtown on Wednesday, April 16 before heading to Drew on April 18-19.
