Susquehanna Ranked 105th in Learfield Director’s Cup Standings
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Susquehanna University finished
105th in the final 2013-14 Division III Learfield Sports
Directors’ Cup standings, released Wednesday.
The Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in up to 18 sports (nine men’s, nine women’s). A complete description of the scoring system can be found here.
The Crusaders, who finished the academic year with 185.50 points, were a mere three places behind fellow Landmark Conference institution Catholic University. Moravian finished in 126th place, giving the Landmark three institutions in the top 130 of the 323-team field.
Last month, Susquehanna won the 2013-14 Landmark Conference President’s Cup for the second time in three years.
