Landmark Announces Spring Sportsmanship Teams

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference announced the members of its spring All-Sportsmanship Teams.

The All-Sportsmanship Team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and is selected by the players and coaches from their respective teams. The All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. The student-athletes selected demonstrate fair play, graciousness in victory and respectfulness in defeat. They are ambassadors for the team both on and off the field and galvanize their teammates toward their goals. These student-athletes exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, spectators and the greater campus community.

Susquehanna’s male recipients were baseball player Cole Luzins (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville), lacrosse player Conor Boyland (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central), track and field athlete Peter Kerns (Sandy Hook, Conn./Newtown) and tennis player Thomas Magill (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area).

On the women’s side, the selected student-athletes were women’s lacrosse player Zoe Lycett (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh), track and field athlete Laura Alleva (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley), softball player Jessica Juhlin (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey) and tennis player Linsey Sipple (Erie, Pa./General McLane).
