SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna baseball team has been picked to finish fifth in the Landmark Conference Preseason Poll, released Wednesday morning.

Also returning is senior Bryan Palsi, who started all 32 games last year and hit for a .286 average with three home runs and was a Second-Team All-Conference selection.

Including Leone and Palsi, five of the team's top six batters from a year ago return to the lineup. Justin Cassinelli and Matt Cassinelli each started 34 games and hit for .356 and .331 averages, respectively. Catcher Tom Shields hit .316 in 24 games.

Susquehanna's season gets underway Feb. 26-28 at Christopher Newport with games against Ithaca and the host Captains.
