SU’s Leone Named to 2015 Summer Collegiate All-America Team

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – Susquehanna baseball player, Zach Leone (Pelham, N.Y/Fordham Prep/University of Massachusetts) has been named to Perfect Game’s 2015 Summer All-America Honorable Mention Team.
 
A 2015 First-Team All-Landmark Conference catcher, Leone finished the summer season with the Staten Island Tide leading the team in RBI (32) and third in batting average (.380). He boasted an on base percentage of .455, a slugging percentage of .560 with 11 runs, 14 doubles, two triples and two stolen bases.
 
Leone led the 2015 Crusaders in batting average (.402), hits (47), doubles (10), RBI (29) and slugging percentage (.556) in the 2015 season. The rising junior tallied a .877 fielding percentage and started all 32 games in which he played, primarily at catcher.
