  • Baseball's Third Annual Golf Tournament set for Sept. 9

    The third annual Baseball Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 9th. Alumni, parents and friends of Susquehanna Baseball are invited to attend the third annual tournament. The tournament has grown each year and continues to bring together friends and former players in support of the baseball program.

    Senior Cory Fallon and junior Zach Leone were each named to the All-Region team as selected by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as announced on the association website Tuesday afternoon.

The same two teams will complete the series with a doubleheader starting at Noon Saturday in Selinsgrove.

    Freshman Bobby Grigas and senior Taylor Luckenbill helped the Susquehanna University Baseball team complete a 3-1 week including a Landmark Conference sweep of the three-game series with Scranton. As a result, the players have been named the Landmark Pitcher of the Week and Player of the Week respectively for the week ending March. 26.

    Danny Gordon doubled down the right field line to start the bottom of the 10th inning, advanced to third on a wild pitch and came home on a Cameron Ott sacrifice fly to right field to score the winning run as the Susquehanna University Baseball team completed a sweep of the three-game series with Scranton with a 4-3 win Sunday. The game was played at Juniata College due to unplayable field conditions in Selinsgrove.
