Taylor Luckenbill was 3-for-4 and six pitchers combined to allow just three runs Sunday afternoon in a 3-0 loss to Navy in the regular season finale for the Susquehanna University Baseball team at Max Bishop Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
Navy (37-15) broke the scoreless tie with a single run in the third inning and added two more in the sixth for the only scoring of the game that lasted just two hours and 12 minutes.
Luckenbill was the lone Susquehanna (22-17) player with more than one hit as he singled in the first, third and fifth innings for the River Hawks.
Head Coach Denny Bowers used nearly all his starting pitchers as Bobby Grigas started and went two innings before Tyson Thrush (1 inning), Sean Rodriguez (2 innings), Jack Kinney (1 inning), Liam Conboy (1 inning) and Ryan Beckwith (1 inning) finished the game. The Susquehanna pitchers surrendered five hits with five walks and seven strike outs. Grigas had three of the strike outs for the River Hawks.

The second-seeded River Hawks will face No. 3 Elizabethtown at 3:30 p.m. in the second game of the tournament with the double elimination tournament continuing Saturday and Sunday at Catholic.
