SU Joins College Cheerleading Safety Initiative
MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 7 -- Susquehanna University has become the 455th college cheerleading team to join the College Cheerleading Safety Initiative. The CCSI is a joint initiative by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators and Varsity Brands and was developed and unveiled in November 2006 to further promote cheerleading safety at the college level.

Susquehanna Football, Cheerleading, ZTA Raise $1,000 for Breast-Cancer Research
SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- The Susquehanna University football and cheerleading teams and Iota Nu Chapter of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority conducted a charitable fundraiser in conjunction with the Susquehanna-Lycoming College football game on Sept. 19. The effort raised $1,000 in support of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization, designed to promote breast-cancer awareness and to fund research of the disease.
