SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Crusaders are hoping their trend of thrilling victories continues this weekend when they hit the road to face Centennial Conference opponent Muhlenberg on Saturday at 1 p.m.
SU has won back-to-back conference games and stands at 3-1, 2-1 on the season. All three of the team's wins have come on the final play of the game and have been by a three-point margin or less. In addition, Susquehanna has come out on top of two overtime victories.
Muhlenberg, meanwhile, is 2-2 with a 2-1 mark in league games. The team is coming off a 27-17 loss at Johns Hopkins but has picked up conference wins over Franklin & Marshall and McDaniel.
Following Saturday's game, the Crusaders will enjoy a bye week before hosting Moravian on Oct. 15 at 1 p.m.
