SELINSGROVE, Pa. – On Friday, Oct. 28, the eighth Susquehanna University Quarterback Club luncheon of the 2011 season will be held as the athletic department and football team recap last weekend’s game against Ursinus and look ahead to the upcoming road contest at Franklin & Marshall.
The luncheons are held every Friday at noon throughout the football season. As in years past, the event will take place in the Apple Community Room of the James W. Garrett Sports Complex on the Susquehanna campus.
A yearly membership to the QB Club is $40. That amount does NOT include the weekly fee for lunch ($8.50).

In addition, SU field hockey coach Kaitlyn Skelley Wahila will attend the luncheon to recap the field hockey season to date as well as look ahead to the remaining games of the 2011 season.
As usual, head coach Steve Briggs, the SU football coaching staff, Susquehanna Director of Athletics Pam Samuelson and Director of Athletic Communications Katie Meier will also be in attendance.
Samuelson, Briggs and Meier will address the attendees and Meier will recap the previous week’s athletic events and preview upcoming contests. Briggs will recap the Ursinus game and the coaching staff will show a highlight film of the past weekend’s game.
