Tellish Tabbed Player of the Week

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Four touchdowns, one blizzard and one win added up to a Centennial Conference Player of the Week award for Susquehanna senior running back Greg Tellish (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll).

Tellish scored four touchdowns, racked up 132 rushing yards and 87 receiving yards in SU's 40-14 win at Franklin & Marshall. Three of those touchdowns were of the rushing variety while he also found the end zone on a 57-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Rich Palazzi (Newfoundland, Pa./Wallenpaupack). His rushing and receiving yards were both team-highs.

This season, Tellish has played in all eight games and leads the team in rushing attempts (180), rushing touchdowns (10) and rushing yards (733). He also has 19 catches for 213 yards and one touchdown.

With Saturday's win, the Crusaders are now 5-3, 4-3 and are guaranteed a non-losing season. They host McDaniel on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. on Senior Day.
