SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Susquehanna University football team has teamed up with the Iota Nu chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha for a “Pink Out” of Lopardo Stadium for the Crusaders’ home finale against McDaniel on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m.
All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. ZTA members will distribute pink ribbons to all fans at the game and members of the football team will be wearing pink decals on their helmets as well as pink tape.
ZTA’s national philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness, and any money raised during the event will benefit the ZTA Foundation and its philanthropic initiatives.
Zeta Tau Alpha was founded in 1898 at the State Female Normal
School (now Longwood University) in Farmville, Va., and has more
than 211,000 members worldwide. The Iota Nu chapter was founded at
Susquehanna in 1985. Breast cancer education and awareness became
ZTA’s national philanthropy in 1992 and the organization
partners with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®,
Yoplait®, the National Football League and SELF
magazine to promote awareness. Think Pink® is a

Saturday’s game is also Senior Day for the football squad as well as Family Weekend for Susquehanna University.
