Ritter Named to All-Sportsmanship Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior football player Mike Ritter (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) was named to the Centennial Conference’s Football All-Sportsmanship Team, it was announced on Monday. Each year, one player from each of the member institutions is named to the list following the completion of each season.

Ritter, a wide receiver, was also recently named a First-Team All-Centennial Conference player earlier this month. He was also a First-Team honoree in 2010.

Ritter leaves SU as one of the program’s top receivers. In 2012, he led the team in every receiving category and averaged a conference-best 89.5 yards per game. His 189 career receptions are second all-time, as are his 28 career touchdowns.

Ritter and the Crusaders finished their 2012 season with a 6-4 mark, including a 5-4 record in Centennial Conference games.
