Football Hands Out Annual Awards at Banquet

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – On Saturday, Dec. 1, the Susquehanna football program held its annual end-of-the-year banquet where several individual players were recognized with individual awards.

Senior defensive back Jalon Scott (Albany, N.Y./Albany HS) was named the 2012 Most Valuable Player and rising senior Brandon Cuevas (Wharton, N.J./Morris Catholic) was voted to serve as the team captain during the spring season. He will remain as a captain when the team takes the field for the 2013 fall season.

The Crusaders open the 2013 campaign on Sept. 7 with a road game at non-conference opponent USMMA.
