Hotaling Named Special Teams Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Susquehanna junior kicker Spencer Hotaling (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) has been named the Centennial Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in SU’s game at conference opponent Franklin &Marshall on Saturday.

Hotaling had a perfect day against the Diplomats, going 3-for-3 on his field goal attempts, including a career-long of 43, eclipsing his previous career-best 41-yarder. He also connected on all three PAT attempts in the Crusaders’ 41-36 loss to F&M.

Through eight games this season, Hotaling is 7-of-8 on field goal attempts and 20-of-21 on PAT attempts. He also has 35 kickoffs for 2,035 yards for an average of 58.1 yards per kick.

Susquehanna returns home on Nov. 9 to host conference opponent McDaniel at 1 p.m. The team’s senior members will be honored prior to the start of the game.
