Crusco Tabbed Wealth Professionals Player of the Week

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – At Friday's third Quarterback Club Luncheon of the year, Susquehanna freshman quarterback Nick Crusco (Oak Ridge, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) was named the Wealth Professionals/Gus Weber Player of the Week for his performance against Johns Hopkins University on Sept. 13.

Against the Blue Jays, Crusco went 23-for-37 for 302 yards and two touchdowns. Through two starts this season, Crusoc is 36-for-62 for 450 yards and three touchdowns.

In addition to the partnership with Wealth Professionals, the Player of the Week award is also named  in honor of late Susquehanna president Gustave Weber, who was SU's president for more than 18 years. He was also an avid Crusader athletics booster who actually served as head football coach for the final two games of the 1965 season.

SU hits the road to face Centennial Conference opponent Dickinson on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.
