Player of the Week Award Goes to Miller

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – At the seventh Quarterback Club Luncheon of the fall, Susquehanna senior free safety Cody Miller (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) was named the Wealth Professionals/Gus Weber Players of the Week for his performance at Moravian on Oct. 18.

Against the Greyhounds, Miller had seven tackles – five solo – to go along with two picks, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup. Through six games this season, Miller has 43 tackles, six passes defended, four pass breakups, two interceptions and one fumble recovery. His two interceptions are tied for the team lead.

In addition to the partnership with Wealth Professionals, the Player of the Week award is also named in honor of late Susquehanna president Gustave Weber, who was SU's president for more than 18 years. He was also an avid Crusader athletics booster who actually served as head football coach for the final two games of the 1965 season.

The Crusaders remain on the road to face Ursinus on Oct. 25 for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
