Hayle Named Special Teams Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Susquehanna junior football player Kwane Hayle (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Poughkeepsie) was named the Centennial Conference Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance in the season finale against Juniata on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Hayle had a career day on both special teams and offense. In the return game, he had seven kickoff returns for 179, including an 83-yard return for a touchdown. Hayle also caught six passes for a game-high 117 yards and two more touchdowns in SU's 44-35 loss to the Eagles.

This season, Hayle led the team with 19 kickoff returns for 356 yards to average 18.7 yards per return. He also had 18 catches for 236 yards and three touchdowns.

The Crusaders ended the season with an overall record of 2-8, including a 2-7 mark in Centennial Conference games.
