Offensive Player of the Week Honor for Crusco

LANCASTER, Pa. – Following his six touchdown performance on Saturday, Susquehanna quarterback Nick Crusco (Oak Ridge, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced Sunday afternoon.

Crusco threw for three scores and ran for three more to account for all six of the Crusaders' touchdowns in a 42-35 win over Dickinson College on SU's Homecoming Weekend.

The sophomore finished with 287 yards on 24 completions, including three touchdowns. Crusco also ran for 65 yards and three more scores, including what proved to be the game-winning one-yard touchdown run with 2:21 remaining in the game.

Through three games this season, Crusco has thrown for 629 yards and six touchdowns and is averaging 209.7 passing yards per game. He has also rushed for 99 yards on 32 carries with three touchdowns. SU (2-1, 1-1) has racked up 709 passing yards on the season to opponents' 486.

The Crusaders hit the road for back-to-back games, beginning Sept. 26 with a 1 p.m. game at Gettysburg.
