Athletic Department Announces Additions to Staff
The Susquehanna athletic department will welcome five new interns to its staff for the 2011-12 season. Four of those interns will fill coaching vacancies while one will serve as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. There also remains one coaching intern position yet to be filled.

Susquehanna Community Mourns Loss of Legendary Coach Bob Pittello ’51
The Susquehanna University community is mourning the loss of legendary football coach Bob Pittello ’51, who passed away Thursday night at Pottsville Hospital where he was being treated for blood clots in his arm. Pittello, a member of the SU Sports Hall of Fame, was both a player and coach for the Crusaders for nearly five decades and was active in the collegiate football world for more than 50 years.
