MADISON, N.J. – For the second week in a row a Susquehanna field hockey player was named a Landmark Conference Player of the Week as sophomore Ally Bradley (Jamison, Pa./Central Bucks South) reeled in Offensive Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon.
Teammate Laurel Monaghan (East Fallowfield, Pa./Coatesville Area) was named the Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 27.
Bradley was in on the action for all four of SU’s goals last week as the team split a pair of road games. On Thursday, she scored the Crusaders’ first goal against nationally-ranked Lebanon Valley College and chipped in an assist on the team’s second goal of the night.
On Saturday, she scored Susquehanna’s first goal against conference opponent Scranton and assisted on the game-winning score in an eventual 2-1 SU win.
Susquehanna is now 6-5 overall and a perfect 2-0 in Landmark action.
Bradley has started all 11 of the team’s games and leads her squad in goals (9), assists (7), points (25) and shots (32). She also has one game-winning goal to her credit.
The Crusaders host conference opponent Juniata on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
