Field Hockey Receives Academic Recognition

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Ten members of the Susquehanna field hockey team were named to the 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Collegiate National Academic Squad. This marks the fourth year in a row SU has had double digit players earn this honor.

Seniors Erin Bonafede, Emily Reich and Taylor Secor; juniors Lauren Cram, Kayla Johnson, Megan McClellan and Tessa Woodring; sophomore Cayla Spatz and freshmen Zoe Keim and Stephanie Sachs were all recognized.

The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point-average (GPA) of 3.30 or higher during the 2015 fall semester.

In addition, the entire field hockey team was also awarded the 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award for achieving a minimum 3.0 GPA during the 2015 fall semester.
