Bittersweet Victory for SU Field Hockey
It took three days and two bus trips for the Susquehanna women’s field hockey team to finally complete its weather-delayed game against Moravian. On Monday, SU hosted the Greyhounds and won 2-1. Unfortunately, with Scranton’s win over Juniata earlier Monday evening, the Crusaders were eliminated from playoff contention.

Athletic Department Announces Additions to Staff
The Susquehanna athletic department will welcome five new interns to its staff for the 2011-12 season. Four of those interns will fill coaching vacancies while one will serve as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. There also remains one coaching intern position yet to be filled.

Landmark Conference Announces Fall Academic Honor Roll
Forty-nine Susquehanna student-athletes were placed on the 2011 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, released on Thursday. Six teams were represented: men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.
