Men's Basketball: The Crusaders (5-5) kick-off the New Year with three home games this week. They open up on Tuesday with a 7:30 p.m. game against Thaddeus Stevens, a team that checks in at 5-3. Livestats for the game will be available here.

Susquehanna was last in action on Dec. 29 when the team traveled to PSU-Harrisburg and saw its five-game win streak come to an end in an 83-75 loss. Senior Spenser Spenser (Seattle, Wash./Lakeside) led the team with 18 points.
Women's Basketball: SU (3-8) opens up 2012 on the road to take on the Cabrini Cavaliers (5-4) in non-conference action. Livestats for the game are available here.
The Crusaders ended 2011 on a high note, recording a convincing 70-54 victory over John Jay in the consolation game of the Nazareth College Holiday Tournament. Junior Gina Palazzi (Newfoundland, Pa. / Wallenpaupack) scored 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds in the win.
