Basketball Alum Baglin ’74 Retires After Prolific Coaching Career

MENDHAM, N.J. – Susquehanna University alum Jim Baglin ’74 has retired as the head coach of the Mendham High School (N.J.) men’s basketball program, retiring as the most successful head coach in the history of Morris County high school basketball.

Baglin compiled nearly 700 victories and won two state championships and nine county titles during his 33-year tenure at Mendham.

Baglin graduated Susquehanna in 1974 and later returned as an assistant with the men’s team for three years before moving onto Mendham. He became athletic director at Mendham beginning in 1991.
