Former SU Hoops Player Tommy Dempsey ’97 Named Binghamton Head Coach

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Former Susquehanna men’s basketball player and assistant coach Tommy Dempsey ’97 has been named the head men’s basketball coach at Division I Binghamton University.

A native of Scranton, Pa., Dempsey was a three-year letterwinner and captain while a member of the Crusaders as a player and graduated in 1997 with a degree in sociology. Following graduation, Dempsey spent two seasons (1997-99) as an assistant coach with SU.
