SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's basketball team will be teaming with Pepsi to collect canned goods to support the Salvation Army of Sunbury.
Starting on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Susquehanna's home volleyball match and continuing through the Pepsi Tipoff Tournament from Nov. 20-22, the men's basketball team will be collecting canned goods to donate to the Salvation Army, which is in need of non-perishable food items with the holiday season approaching.
The basketball team is asking that when fans attend a Susquehanna University home sporting event that they bring a non-perishable food item and drop it into one of the marked containers.
During football games, the containers will be on the home side of the field near the entrance to the home bleachers. At basketball and volleyball games, containers will be located in the lobby of the Garrett Sports Center.
