Men’s Basketball Moves to No. 11 in Nation

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's basketball team has moved to No. 11 in the nation in the most recent poll, released Tuesday morning.

The Crusaders were ranked 17th in the previous poll, which was released on Dec. 13.

Susquehanna remains one of six unbeaten teams in the poll with a 12-0 record following last Saturday's win over Moravian. The 12-0 start is the best start in program history.

So far this season, SU has beaten two teams that were nationally ranked at the time of each game in then-No. 22 Catholic and then-No. 15 Trinity. Landmark Conference rival Scranton is ranked 21st in the nation. The Crusaders return to the court Jan. 7 with a road matchup against Scranton, which is 9-2 overall with a 2-1 mark in Landmark games.
