TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna men's basketball player Josh Miller has been named the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 24.
Miller had a double-double in SU's lone game of the week with 20 points and 15 rebounds in just 26 minutes of work in a 98-67 win over Goucher College. He shot 50 percent from the floor, 40 percent (2-5) from behind the arch and was 8-8 at the free throw line. He also tallied one assist and one block.
This season, Miller has started all 17 games and leads the team with 16.6 points per game. He is shooting 53 percent from the floor, 37 percent from the three-point range and a team–high 85.3 percent from the free throw line. He also has 32 assists, 11 blocks and 13 steals.
The No. 15 Crusaders are 16-1 overall, with a 7-1 mark in Landmark Conference games; they remain 8-0 at home and return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 27 when they travel to Catholic University for a 7:00 p.m. game.
