Men’s Basketball Ranked Sixteenth in Nation

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's basketball team is currently ranked No. 16 in the nation in the most recent D3hoops.com poll, released Tuesday morning.

The Crusaders move up two spots from last week's ranking. Last week they defeated Goucher 67-53 and Elizabethtown twice, 86-70 and 83-69. SU is 22-3 overall with a 13-3 mark in Landmark Conference action and is off to the best start in program history as they have tied the most wins in a single season which was set by the 1985-86 team who made it to the NCAA Elite 8.

This season, SU has beaten three teams that were nationally ranked at the time of competition in then-No.22 Catholic, then-No. 15 Trinity and Landmark Conference rival Scranton, ranked 22nd at the time of the contest.

Susquehanna returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 24 when the team hosts the University of Scranton for a 7:00 p.m. Landmark Conference semifinal game.
