Hoops Heading to NCAA Tournament; Will Host First, Second Round Games

**Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, March 2 through Friday, March 4. Tickets are available for purchase in the athletic department office from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. all three days. Tickets are $10 for an adult, $5 for children, senior citizens and students. Children under two are free. SU students will receive a free ticket courtesy of the O&M Club ONLY if a ticket is pre-purchased in the athletic department office with a valid ID prior to Friday's games.**

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The 16th-ranked Susquehanna men's basketball team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and will host SUNY College at Old Westbury on Friday, March 4 in a first-round game. Game times will be announced later today.

In addition to Old Westbury, Babson College and Hartwick College will travel to Selinsgrove for first and second round action, as well.

The Crusaders are 23-4 on the season with the 23 victories a program record. They advanced to Saturday's Landmark Conference championship game where they were edged by Catholic. Susquehanna is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1993-94.

SU faces Old Westbury, which is 19-8 this season, for the first time in program history. The Panthers won the Skyline Conference with a win over St. Joseph's and are in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2004.

Babson (21-5) won the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) on Sunday afternoon while Hartwick (19-8) captured the Empire 8 title.

Susquehanna is one of three Landmark schools to advance to the NCAA Tournament. Landmark champion Catholic will host a first round, as well, while Scranton travels to Ohio Wesleyan to face Lynchburg.

The winners of Friday's games face each other Saturday at 7 p.m.
