Miller Named Area Player of the Year

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Susquehanna senior men's basketball player Josh Miller has been named a City of Brotherly Love (CoBL) Division III Area Player of the Year.

Miller, out of Lampeter-Strasburg High School, averaged 17.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this year to help lead SU to a program-record 24 victories, as well as an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Miller shot 55.3 percent from the floor and 47.3 percent from beyond the arc while also adding 54 assists, 25 blocks and 20 steals – all career-high numbers for the forward.

In addition to setting a program record in wins and advancing to the NCAA Tournament, the Crusaders played in the Landmark championship game and spent the majority of the season in the national rankings.
