SELINSGROVE, PA — The 2003 Susquehanna baseball team finished its season two wins improved on last season’s record, as junior catcher Bob Haile (Sunbury, PA/Shikellamy H.S.) helped the Crusaders to a 9-20 record and in the process became the first Crusader to hit over .400 since Chad Walters hit .443 in 2000.

SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University junior catcher Bob Haile has been named second-team All-Commonwealth Conference in baseball as voted upon by the league’s eight head coaches and announced by the conference on Wednesday.

SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University junior catcher Bob Haile has been named the Commonwealth Conference baseball Player of the Week for the week ending April 12 after knocking in five runs in a doubleheader split with Albright last Thursday.

SELINSGROVE, PA — The 2002 Susquehanna baseball team started the season with 19 freshmen and sophomores on its roster. The team paid for the inexperience, going through a 7-27 season, setting a school-record for losses and enduring losing streaks of 12 and nine games along the way while finishing last in the Commonwealth Conference with a 5-16 record.

Harnum to Retire as Athletics Director
SELINSGROVE, PA – Longtime Susquehanna University director of athletics Don Harnum has announced that he will retire this summer after 24 years at the helm of the Crusader athletic department.
