SELINSGROVE, PA The 2003 Susquehanna baseball team finished its season two wins improved on last seasons record, as junior catcher Bob Haile (Sunbury, PA/Shikellamy H.S.) helped the Crusaders to a 9-20 record and in the process became the first Crusader to hit over .400 since Chad Walters hit .443 in 2000.

SELINSGROVE, PA Susquehanna University junior catcher Bob Haile has been named second-team All-Commonwealth Conference in baseball as voted upon by the leagues eight head coaches and announced by the conference on Wednesday.

SELINSGROVE, PA Susquehanna University junior catcher Bob Haile has been named the Commonwealth Conference baseball Player of the Week for the week ending April 12 after knocking in five runs in a doubleheader split with Albright last Thursday.

SELINSGROVE, PA With many fields still covered in snow and ice, several of this weeks Susquehanna University athletic events have been postponed indefinitely with another rescheduled for later in the week.

Youth Movement
SELINSGROVE, PA The 2002 Susquehanna baseball team started the season with 19 freshmen and sophomores on its roster. The team paid for the inexperience, going through a 7-27 season, setting a school-record for losses and enduring losing streaks of 12 and nine games along the way while finishing last in the Commonwealth Conference with a 5-16 record.

Harnum to Retire as Athletics Director
SELINSGROVE, PA Longtime Susquehanna University director of athletics Don Harnum has announced that he will retire this summer after 24 years at the helm of the Crusader athletic department.
