New Athletic Conference Named - Landmark Conference
SELINSGROVE, PA - Landmark Conference will be the name of the new NCAA Division III athletic association formed last December by seven like-minded colleges and universities in the eastern United States , conference athletic directors announced at their inaugural meeting on June 9.

Bowers Named Commonwealth Coach of the Year
SELINSGROVE, Pa . – Susquehanna University head baseball coach Denny Bowers has been named the Commonwealth Conference Coach of the Year, while sophomore Brian Ahearn was named second-team All-Conference at designated hitter in voting by the league's eight head coaches, the conference announced Monday.

SELINSGROVE, Pa . – Susquehanna University sophomore shortstop Brian Ahearn has been honored as the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week in baseball after leading the Crusaders to a three-game sweep of their weekend series with Moravian.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Six former Susquehanna University student-athletes as well as a pair of longtime coaches will be inducted into the university's Sports Hall of Fame in ceremonies in the Degenstein Campus Center on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Presidents Announce New Athletic Conference
SELINSGROVE , PA - The presidents of eight colleges and universities have announced the formation of a new NCAA Division III athletics conference. The members of the new conference will compete in all sports other than football. The conference, yet to be named, will begin competition in the fall of 2007.
