Stewart Moan was named Susquehanna University's head men's
lacrosse coach and director of athletics facilities in the summer
of 2007.

a 61-43 record, including a 13-5 mark in 2002 and a 12-5 mark in

women's basketball coach.
He then moved to Lynchburg College, where he guided the Hornets to
a 67-40 record from 1989 to 1995. In 1994, Lynchburg ranked as high
as No. 14 in NCAA Division III on its way to a 12-3 record. That
year, Moan was selected as head coach for the Division III
North/South All-Star game.
After stints as an assistant coach at the Division I level at Duke

first-ever national ranking. Moan was named the State University of
New York Athletic Conference’s Coach of the Year while at
Oneonta State in 2005.
He has been a member of several Division III advisory committees,

Conference Rookie of the Year before becoming the Saxons' leading

letterwinner on a defense that ranked third in the nation by US
Lacrosse. Whittier allowed the lowest number of goals in Division
III during the 2000 season.

as a youth pastor while coaching his local club lacrosse team.
