Susquehanna Men's Soccer Tops Moravian, 1-0, on Senior Day

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's freshman Pat Horan (Sutton, Mass./Worcester Academy) made four saves, all in the first half, to lead Susquehanna (7-9-1, 3-3-0 Landmark) to a 1-0 win over visiting Moravian College on Senior Day in a Landmark Conference men's soccer game at Sassafras Fields on Oct. 24.

SU's sophomore midfielder Austin Gordon (Millburn, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep) netted his third goal of the year from the top of the box off a pass from senior defender Andrew Cordell Carey (Fenwick Island, Del./Indian River) in the 69th minute.

Susquehanna topped Moravian (4­-10-2, 2-4-0 Landmark) in shots, 13-8, and by a wide margin in corner kicks, 15-3.
