Justin Makar '07 completed his third season as an assistant coach of the men's soccer team in 2009.

A native of Weirton, W.Va., and a 2003 graduate of Sewickley Academy in Pittsburgh, Pa., Makar played soccer throughout his college career at Susquehanna. As a four-year player for current Head Coach Jim Findlay, he earned second-team all-Commonwealth honors as a sophomore and junior. As a senior captain, he helped lead the Crusaders to the conference championship game for the first time in program history and was recognized as a first-team all-conference selection.

Makar graduated cum laude from SU with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He currently resides in Selinsgrove, Pa.
