Crusaders Men Stay Undefeated with Win at Lycoming, 118-85

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's freshmen Taylor Cole (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) and Griffin Kearney (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) both won two individual events and partnered to help post a fastest relay time, as visiting Susquehanna (4-0) topped Lycoming College (0-3), 118-85, in a men's swimming meet on Nov. 11.

Cole won the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle races with times of 5 minutes, 8.53 seconds and 10:36.25, respectively, while Kearney captured the 50 and 100 frees in 22.97 seconds and 50.24 seconds, respectively. That duo also teamed with freshmen Lars Bogar (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) and Robert Ries (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) to record the fastest 200 free relay time of 1:33.16.

Freshman Chadd Lee (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) was the other swimmer to win two events for SU, claiming first place in the 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley in 56.35 seconds and 2:06.03, respectively.

Teammate and sophomore James Strande (Cedar Knolls, N.J./Whippany Park) touched the wall first in the 200 free with a 1:54.80 time. Fellow Crusader and junior Colin Sullivan (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.42.
