Susquehanna Fairs Well at Moravian Fall Invitational


DANIELSVILLE, Pa. -- Junior Adam Puskar (Whitehall, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) tied for seventh place out of 103 players to help the Susquehanna University to place eighth out of 20 teams in the 2010 Moravian College Fall Invitational, held at the Woodstone Country Club on Sept. 17.

Puskar finished with a 77 on the par-72, 6,437-yard course.

Junior Patrick DiMartino (East Hanover, N.J./Hanover Park) finished in a tie for 24th, scoring an 81, to help SU shoot an overall score of 326.

Junior Ryan Redfern (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) and freshman Stephen Welkie (Allentown, Pa./Allenton Central Catholic) each shot an 84, placing in a tie for 44th.

Sophomore Teague Emery (Earlville, Pa./Conventry Christian) rounded out the Crusaders’ top five with a 91.

Muhlenberg College won the event with a team score of 303, 15 shots better than runner-up, Gettysburg College.
