SU Men’s Golf Competes at Glenmaura Invite
MOOSIC, Pa. – The Susquehanna men’s golf team
finished two days of competition at the Glenmaura Invite in seventh
place after shooting a two-day score of 616 (+48).
The team shot a 328 on day one and rebounded to shoot a 321 on
Monday.
John Jaques (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) as
SU’s top finisher, shooting a 153 (74,79) to tie for
10th overall. Kevin Willet (Ridgewood,
N.J./Ridgewood) shot a 76 on Monday and combined with his
85 on Sunday, finished at 161 to tie for 27th.
Among the top 40 finishers were Donny DeRemer (Shavertown,
Pa./Holy Redeemer) (169), Patrick Neal
(Pylesville, Md./North Harford) (169) and Corey
Lewis (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) (171).
The team returns to action on Thursday, April 19 to host the SU
Invitational starting at 1 p.m.
