GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Susquehanna men’s golf team finished in sixth-place at the Gettysburg Invitational, an event delayed for several weeks due to inclement weather earlier this month. The Crusaders shot a 328 on the par 72 course.
Marymount took the title in the 11-team field with a score of 310, five shots ahead of the second-place PSU-Harrisburg squad.
Senior John Jacques (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) had a more than impressive day, tying for fourth overall with a score of 76 (+4). In a tie for 13th was Kevin Phelan (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte County Day School) (79) with Ryan Bruvik taking 32nd with an 86, Anthony Canarie (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) placing 33rd (87) and Daniel Kinney rounding out the group with a score of 93.
SU is back in action on Oct. 8-9 at the McDaniel Invitational.
