Men’s Golf Finishes Second on First Day of Nazareth Fall Invitational

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Susquehanna’s men’s golf team finished second at the two-day Nazareth Fall Invitational held at Irondequoit Country Club on Sunday and Monday.

St. John Fisher placed first with a 623 (305, 318). The Crusaders shot a 642 (321, 321).

SU was lead by freshman Patrick Neal (Pylesville, Md. / North Harford) who fired a 153 (76, 77), who tied for second place.

Senior Kevin Willett (Ridgewood, N.J. / Ridgewood) followed with a 155 (75, 80), sophomore Stephen Welkie (Allentown, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic) shot a 161 (83, 78) and senior John Jaques (Easton, Pa. / Easton Area) shot a 173 (87, 86) to pace the Crusaders.

The two-day meet marked the end of the fall season for the SU men’s golf squad.
