Susquehanna Men’s Golf in Fifth at Empire 8 Championships

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Susquehanna men’s golf team is currently in fifth placing heading into the fourth and final round of the Empire 8 Championships.

The Crusaders have put together a three-round score of 1003 after shooting a 336 on Saturday. St. John Fisher maintains first overall with a three-round score of 911, including a third-round score of 315 on Saturday.

SU’s Ryan Bruvik (Skillman, N.J./The Hun School) shot an 86 on Saturday and is currently the team’s leading golfer with a three-round total of 250. Dylan Gladd (Rensselaer, N.Y./Columbia) shot a 79 on Saturday is just one shot behind Bruvik with a three-round score of 251. One stroke behind Gladd is Stephen Welkie (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic), who shot an 82 on Saturday.

Griffin Drury (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) enters Sunday’s round with a score of 257 after shooting an 89 on Saturday and Anthony Canarie (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) has a three-round score of 259. Donny DeRemer (Shavertown, Pa./Holy Redeemer) rounds out the group with a three-round score of 267, including the 96 he shot on Saturday.

The four-round championship concludes on Sunday.
